1. Is DenScore available to anyone?

We are making preparations to offer DenScore to both insured and uninsured consumers throughout the United States. Currently, DenScore is only available through employers and dental insurance plans in select cities. However, if you have questions or concerns about your dental benefits, reach out to us and we’ll try to help!

2. Do I have to pay to use DenScore?

Nope! DenScore does not cost you a penny! It is a service provided by your employer or dental insurer so you can receive higher quality, more personalized and affordable dental care!

3. Why should I trust DenScore and not online reviews when choosing a dentist?

We agree that online reviews can be very helpful! However, online reviews can also be misleading for reasons such as user biases, lack of appropriate oversight and a ‘pay to play’ framework. DenScore is different. By teaming up with our strategic partners, we collect both objective and subjective dental performance data on dentists throughout the United States. We analyze the data, along with your DenScore search preferences, to match you to the most desirable dentists that meet YOUR personalized needs. So, instead of being overwhelmed by having to sort through hundreds of dentists in your insurance plan, we got you covered!

4. Why DenScore and not another solution?

DenScore does WAY more than help you find great dentists in your insurance plan! We provide comprehensive dental navigation support so you can make smarter decisions throughout your entire dental care journey! Think of us as your personalized guide so you can leverage your dental benefits in a way that leads to a healthier and happier life.

5. How do you know what people want from their dental experience?

DenScore was conceived by a team of dentists with decades of clinical experience but more importantly, we asked consumers how we can help. We launched a nationwide market research campaign and collected thousands of survey responses to better understand how dental providers, employers and dental insurance companies can better serve YOUR needs. We also collaborate with dental insurance companies, employers and dental benefits leaders on a regular basis to ensure that DenScore is providing you with the most up-to-date guidance and resources.

6. When would I most likely need to use DenScore?

From our market research campaign, we learned that 63% of people in metropolitan areas switch dentists at least once every 3 years. Reasons often include: new employment, new dental insurance, a recent move, a poor experience dental office experience, a dentist leaving the insurance network, etc..). If any of these scenarios apply to you, we can help! However, even if you’re not looking for a new dentist, DenScore can benefit you and your family in many different ways!
